County Bank Announcements
. July 2, 2009 Dear Valued County Bank Customer, We are pleased to announce that we are launching a new project designed to improve your banking experience with us. During the period from 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 24 until 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, we will be installing a new, state-of-the-art data processing system. We are undertaking this system upgrade to provide improved products and services to our customers and to support future growth. While the majority of these enhancements and upgrades can be implemented without affecting your services, we wanted to inform you of several procedural changes and possible brief interruptions of our banking services during the weekend of July 24 through July 26, 2009. Products and Services That Will Remain the Same Your day-to-day branch, internet banking, ATM and telephone banking experience will be virtually unchanged. Your existing debit and credit cards will continue to be operable, your account number(s) will remain unchanged and you should continue to use your existing checkbook. Products and Services That Will Change You will receive separate statements for loans and deposit products. Important Additional Information · All branches of County Bank – including drive-thru locations – will be closing on Friday, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. Branches will resume normal business hours the next morning on Saturday, July 25 at 9:00 a.m. · The cut-off time for same-day value of deposits and cashing of checks in the branches will be extended from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Friday July 24th only. After this date, any checks deposited or cashed after 3:00 p.m. will be effective the following business day as per our usual practice. · Our ATM and online banking systems will be accessible during this time of transition, and your existing debit and credit cards will continue to be operable. · The transfer option of the Bank-by-Phone Service will be suspended at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, but will continue to provide information. The entire telephone banking system will be down for a short period of time from Saturday morning until mid-day, July 25, while the bank switches to its new system. Once the necessary interface changes are made, the Bank-by-Phone service will be fully available. · You will receive a special account statement for deposit activity since your last statement date through July 24. Please review this statement for accuracy and retain it for your records. Your next statement will be sent on your regularly scheduled date, and will reflect all account activity from July 25, 2009 forward. · E-statements will be presented in a ”text only” format for the first month, and will then be upgraded to match the current format.
We have worked hard to minimize any interruptions in service during the system upgrade. The final result will be a system that will allow County Bank to better respond to your continued financial needs.
